What is a suppository? Another way to consume. Usually a small shaped round or coned object that you insert in your body, vaginally or rectally. Once inside, it dissolves and releases its properties. For some this format can be quite daunting or slightly unusual but can make absorption much more effective then in your stomach or intestines then ingesting through your mouth, especially if you suffer with swallowing.
Why THC infused suppositories?
Your Gastrointestinal(GI) lining has numerous cannabinoid receptors in which cannabinoids can bind rapidly through soft tissues and bloodstream. For some this format can be much more effective for systemic pain and inflammation, as in general it is a much faster onset, higher bioavailability(the extent and rate at which the active moiety (drug or metabolite) enters systemic circulation, thereby accessing the site of action.), and shorter peak and duration than when taking capsules/oils orally. This is largely due to suppositories bypassing almost two thirds of first pass metabolism; the metabolism of drugs or chemicals in liver or intestine prior to their reaching the systemic circulation--in most cause during digestion. It is estimated that suppositoires’ result in about 80% bioavailability compared to 35% when taking orally.

Usually bes time is to be used just before bedtime
For vaginal use, insert suppository approximately 2-3 inches into the vaginal canal using the index finger.
For rectal use, it is recommended to empty bowels prior to insertion. If needed, moisten the suppository or rectal area with water prior to insertion. Place the suppository approximately 1 inch into the rectum, past the inner sphincter using an index finger.
After either insertion method, it is ideal to sit or lie for 15 minutes to allow for suppository to absorb.
